With a search function, I'd like to be able to find specific notes. I can search for "Project Prius" and the days that has that text should highlight.

I’m thinking of doing it like this or that...
For example, you write meeting notes every day, but you’ve only been meeting about my project once or twice every month. So, there are notes somewhere in your Ajanda, but since you don’t remember the exact date, searching becomes a bit difficult. To solve this, I came up with two options:

1. The app recognizes and indexes handwriting as text. Then, you use a search bar to type in the word you’re looking for using the keyboard. For example, to find our meeting, you type “Volkan.” Then, the days that contain “Volkan” are marked on the calendar.

2. The app provides a tagging feature. While taking notes during the day, you can write “Volkan” in the “tag” section using handwriting. Each handwritten tag (Volkan) (Project Prius) is stored as a separate tag. When you go to another day, you can choose from previous tags or press (+) to add a new one. This way, you categorize days. Searching can then be done by filtering based on tags. On the search page, you select the tags you want, and the relevant days are then marked on the calendar. If you select multiple tags, you can narrow things down even further.

Cons: Option 1 requires you to use keyboard and relies on the handwriting recognition techniques. Option 2 is limit in your categorization discipline. You might have categories our meeting as Volkan, but you haven't tagged it at (MVP discussions) and now you need to find that exact meeting where we had the MVP discussions.
Pros: Option 1 is more flexible in finding the right notes. Search for MVP discussions and Volkan at the same time. Option 2 is much more aligned with organic Ajanda use, pencil-only, and tags act like little sticky notes/page separates you'd add to your notebook.
